Online Return & Refund Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at sales@somethingdifferentuk.co.uk. If your return is accepted we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please be aware that you (the customer) are responsible for any postage costs if the item is not faulty. For this reason we recommend that you use a tracked postage option when returning items as we cannot be held liable for any parcels lost in transit. Once we have received and checked your return parcel we will endeavour to process a refund within 2 working days. Refund timescales vary between banks; this can be anything up to 10 working days but as little as 48 hours. If you've still not received your refund after 10 working days please get in touch.
Our delivery charges cannot be refunded; in the case of a refund being approved the amount returned will be for the goods only.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
On occasion an item may be out of stock at the time of placing your order; if this happens we will make every attempt to get in touch with you. If we haven't heard back from you within 3 working days then the missing item will be refunded (other items will still be sent if part of a larger order).

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
We also cannot accept returns on earrings for hygiene reasons.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Store Return & Refund Policy
For purchases made in our Swindon store we will gladly exchange items returned to us unused and unopened within 30 days of the date of purchase, accompanied by a receipt. In the case of faulty items we will happily offer a replacement. We cannot offer refunds for items purchased in-store; this does not affect your statutory rights. Earrings purchased in-store cannot be exchanged for health and hygiene reasons.
